Default 1998 powerdyne supercharger

One of my friends has a powerdyne kit for a 1998 GT and he's selling it for $500.00. I was wondering what I would need to do to make it fit my 1999 GT or if it is even worth it. Help appreciated!!!

I'm going to get everything checked out before I buy it but I just wanted to know how hard it would be to make it fit, this is just a preliminary step.

doesn't matter if you get it checked out. go google for "powerdyne reviews". they're not a quality blower.

You can piece together a vortech kit for very little money. They are very reliable and inexspensive.

Powerdynes are internally belt driven. This is why alot of people do not like them.

Powerdynes have a reputation for grenading.. over heating and just letting go completely.. and usualy taking your motor with them. There are a LOT of pissed off people out there who bought those things.. terrible reviews all over the place.

+1, its not worth risking it man with a power adder. Get a quality company. I would hate to see someone lose their motor over a cheap blower.

Hell, for $500 I'd put it on if it was a plug and play application, but It doesn't sound like it is. Put a bigger pulley on it and hope for the best. Even if you only pull 6#'s it's still cheap HP. I'd count on $1,500 once all said and done with tune, injectors, etc.
