whats my power
ok my Bday and Christmas are coming up so i was thinking
Long tube headers
Off road x pipe
2.5in magnapack cat back
CAI
3.90 gears
so what am i looking at here for my 97 GT as far as power and time. I dont wanna spend the money if its not gonna be worth it as far as the x pipe and mandrel bent pipes go.

just curious what long tubes and o/r x pipe? and why not a o/r h pipe? but anyway you def should make at least 30rwhp with the exhaust and then i say that 3.90s will give you a few(like 2 ) tenths in the quarter and the CAI-i would lose for some u/d or steeda timing adjuster. but that setup is def good though

as far as long tube does brand matter? I was gonna go with something Alluminium but i was told that would sound bad? well what are my options? i guess i would settle for Bassani X pipe. I was told X pipe is better for proformace and H pipe was more for sound. In fact i HAVE changed my mind about the CAI and iam concidering a MAF upgrade.

With the gears installed it will make a definate difference though.
BTW, I would skip the MAF unless you are planning on doing the entire intake tract (MAF/inlet/throttle body/upper plenum). Also I have not had good luck with just throwing on a MAF and going to town, it seems to screw up the a/f quite a bit, espcailly with exaust mods. I was over 1 point of a/f ratio rich with my meter installed and a stock program.
