how to remove vinyl bumper insert

Does anybody know the best way to remove the vinyl bumper inserts and get all the glue off the bumper? Thanks alot, Eric

+1 I use a heat gun but that'll burn your hands if your not careful. You can use Bug & Tar remover or Goo-B-gone or Sticker rmover for the residue. Kerosene will work as well (does not damage paint) actually the bug & tar and all those sticker remover things have distillates and petroleum in them just like kerosene!
