yo a 98 might not be the fastest but i bought mine for $500 its a 98 it had a cracked intake manifold and a bad iac valve 106000 miles 3.73 gears x pipe steeda springs steeda triax tokiko gas adjustables caster plates k&n intake setup anjd 3 point strut all it takes is being in the right place at the right time

if your not used to a manual, the mustang may not be the car to start with because you are used to front wheel drive. just a thought.
sticks are fun, but in a auto gears and a shift kit sure compensate
