Best ramps for the buck??
I want to buy some drive-up ramps but not too sure of what's good and what's not. I was looking at autozone's site and they have rhino ramps, are they any good? What are the kinda ramps you guys use for a good price? I dont feel like spending 100's!! [X(]

There you go. DIY ramps, and they can be made cheap. I plan on building some this summer. |

I have rhino ramps and love them, they aren't too steep which makes it easier for lowered cars. They are lightweight too :)

Dammit! That's what Im wanting to do mainly is mess with my catback/midpipe. Also, I want to learn how to change my own oil. So I could make that and get jackstands? How much would those run me
Could I just use jackstands and wheel stoppers? I was looking at autozone's site again and found some 4 ton jack stands for like $30 by Larin? |
RE: Best ramps for the buck??
just get a set of jack stands and a jack... that is all you will need... get atleast 3000lb jack stands, i would put nothing less under a mustang.... when it comes to stands, stronger is always better and safer... you never want to be near the limit of the stand just for the fact if the car falls on you, it can kill you..... but, you wont need ramps if you get stands... just get a decent set of stands, and a good jack... and that is all you will need for lifting and lowering the car.

you can get wheel stoppers.... or just use a piece of 4x4 wood..... that is all i use, its much easier and cheaper... does the same job as a stopper too... make sure the parking brake is also up when you lift the front...

I HATE the feeling of being under a car that is supported by jack stands. I don't care how many of them there are. I gotta get me a set of ramps too...they are not that expensive, just one of those things I never think about until I need 'em, then I say screw it I'll get a set later, and just jack the car up.
