I have a 2002 Roush Stage 3 car that I am converting to an all-out track toy for amateur road racing events/time trials/HPDE's. The car had some front end damage, so I replaced the freontn fascia with a 2003/2004 Cobra bumber. Loks great, but now the stock Roush fiberglass hood (2001 Cobra) doesn't fit. It appears as if the Cobra fascia sits higher and won't allow the hood to close. Is this fascia only designed to fit the 03/04 Cobra hood? Any input, suggestions, advice (i.e. what hood will fit) would be much appreciated. I need to get this issues resolved ASAP so that I can ship the car to VA to have a full Griggs suspension/cage installed.[/align]

You could cut the top part of the bumper where it wont let the hood close. Or buy the 03/04 cobra hood.

I know of plenty of people sporting the 03-04 cobra front bumper and I've never heard of this. Maybe its just with the roush hood? I know of people that have it on a mach 1, regular GT, and so on so I don't know what to tell you.

is the hood a OEM piece or an aftermarket recreation? that may be problem 1, but if not...my only advice would be to adjust the hood bump stops if possible
