ORIGINAL: BleedinBlue

I have heard of people using regular window tint (Like what Wal-Mart sells) and cutting the tint down to fit the tail lights. I haven't tried it, I dont know how hard it would be to get the pieces the right size.

I bought the Gila brand smoke outdoor window film from home depot but I haven't had a chance to put it on. Basically you just cut it to fit and take a lot of time. It was $12 so if it works it was totally worth it

I used the spray tint and if you ever want to remove it just use paint thinner.

It took about 10 min not including drying time. I cleaned them very good and sprayed 2 light coats on them. I used one can to do all of my lights and side markers, all of my wifes' vert's lights and side markers, sprayed my buddys tails and used what was left to tint the windows in my garage.

If you go to auto parts stores that sell VHT, they will probably be able to get the Niteshades within a day without shipping. I know O'Reilly Auto in Missouri keeps it in their warehouses. Most stores won't carry it on the shelf, you'll have to ask.
