Stock for stock, which would win? The 04 is auto and the 05 is a stick.

Stock for stock? 05 GT without a doubt. The 04 GT's are 220 rwhp estimated.

'05 will win especiallyif it is a stick and you have an auto. Remember 3V '05 has 40 more HP than your 2V. If you had the stick and '05 auto it would be much closer race

not even. stock for stock the 05 GT auto and 05 GT stick are pretty much dead even if they have the same gears.

I must have raced a very slow stock auto 05 gt. I got out in front about a fender until he slowly creeps up. Id say he beat me but jus barely.

No doubt the S197 FTW in this case but not all autos run 14.5. Hell SVTBill ran like a 14 flat with just an exhaust(stock headers) IIRC.
