If it has an aftermarket upper pulley... he doesnt have any idlers on there for belt slip. So its either the stock pulley, or he's getting some major belt slippage.

big deal 82k miles..doesnt mean the cars going 2 ****..by the looks of the car the owner kept it in good condition..its gonna destroy you're 99 cobra. lol

I have a 2.81 without idlers and i dont slip really.. so belt slip may not happen... The car are reliable so far on high milage motors as there are a couple that are in the 80s and 90s now... but personally I don't know if i'd buy a car that already had that high milage.. but that's me

To answer your question.. if he can drive it, he'll rape you pretty badly... but, it'll take him a while so race him the first day he gets it :-)

You can find as good or better deal than that with less miles than 82k.... I have seen03/04 Cobras with 600-800hpgo for 34-27k with less than 30k miles!

Idlers aren't always for belt slip. The stock idlers are known to blow apart with a small upper pulley.

Anyway, that car will have enough snot to walk away from you like you are in reverse. Just an excuse to get a SC now too!
