Default Mustang cobra

Just wondering..Im trying to get my dad to buy this red 2007 Shelby Gt 500 for 62k.
Is this a good deal and is this car worth him buying..? Whats everyone think?

way way way way over book.. thats one hell of a dealer markup still.

I would tell him to wait just a bit on it for the next batch to be released.. they are doing atleast a 3 year run of them with over 10,000 per year.. so they should be in better supply next batch.... which means less dealer markup.

In my opinion.These cars are so overpriced.It's not funny. I'd wait for
6 months before even considering one.By then maybe all the suckers would have
bought theirs.My blown GT will almost keep up with one.I've got $28,000
into mine.

They can be had for 55 - 58. Strictly for the more money than brains club. I think these cars are grosely overrated, their nice, but even the 40,000 sticker seems steep,your paying for the name.

It's funny, at the end of 2004 they were giving away the termi's, factory rebates, etc. I doubt that'll happen with these cars though.

I've also heard some bad things about the rods on the shelbys, but time will tell I guess...
