Default Got the predator, what to do next?

i got the ngk irridium plugs and the tuner, so the plugs should get rid of the detonation but what should i adjust with the tuner for better performance wise untill i get custom tune from diablosport? remember this is for a supercharged application.

also, did you give them your mods when you got the tuner? You don't want to use any generic mustang tune because its gonna jack your timing and you need to PULL timing, not add it - which is why your detonating because your running too much timing unless you've been tuned and I don't think you have

yea i just put the ngk plugs in, that is a stupid amount of workand the blowers vacuum lines dont help much. one of the plugs had a bit of oil on it, arround the threads but not on the ignitor so doesnt sound too serious all the rest were clean. but cant i modify the stock tune and not use their performance one? like adding a little timing until it starts to detonate? i mean those plugs were all f*cked up and it looked like the gap was at like .070! they are at .036 now and is a colder plug so should help alot. i am taking it to the track tonight so we will see. but if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to list away!

and a vortech with 8 psi

listen, you need LESS timing than stock not more - your blown. are the programs in the predator tuned for your mods? if so then yea use the most advanced one. If not... pull timing. If your not hearing detonation now then thats good... but you need to be running around 17* TOTAL timing with 8psi and no intercooler.

Unless you purchased a custom tune with your Predator, it will only contain the semi-generic one for stock and mildly modded Mustangs. Unless you really know what you are doing, I wouldn't mess with it until the custom tune shows up.

Try the Ask A Question link on the DiabloSport website. They are pretty quick at replying to those.
