Ok I am plannig on purchasing a supercharger at the end of this summer, but I have a delima. I wanted a procharger kit (P-1SC 3-core intercooler), that when I add on the up grades comes out around $5500. I love the way Kenne Bell's sound with that very unquie belt driven wine, and started looking at some of there kits (6-14 PSI Kit w/AC Intercooled Includes Boost-A-Pump & Chip) for around $5000. I really just want to make around 400hp with my stang, so heres my question. Which kit do you think is better, and how much did you guys pay for your supercharger, any model, but these two are prefered. Thanks.

ok i payed 4300 or so, after tune, install and everything. im making 397rwhp. i have a vortech V2-SQ. i luv it. its not as loud as the procharger. but it definitely gives the gains that i wanted. on the flip side if i had the money for a KB i would have went with one, but money was an issue and still is so the KB was out. i luv the way my vortech pulls and sounds so dont think im complaining. i say go with what your wallet agrees with, because they all will make you happy. in all seriousness just go with what you can afford.

I went with the Novi 2000, and love it. I like the way it pulls hard right up to redline. I paid 5500 installed, I just dropped the car off with nothing, came back 6 days later and picked her up.

She's putting down 411rwhp, 386ftlbs torque.
With my 373's, I am into a lot of boost real quick, so I don't think the instant boost you get with the KB makes much, if any difference, except I believe you are much more prone to mess up your motor on a twin screw or roots type vs. a centri.

So the roots type is a little harder on the motor eh. Hmmm, i dont want to screw up the motor real fast, its only got 26000 miles on it. Is that due to the instant boost? I really like procharger, maybe i just need to cut back on the optional stuff. Hmmm, this is a tuff choice.

Just shy of $6k for everything (upgrdes, dyno time checking a/f ratio on canned tune, and custom dyno tuning). Procharger P1SC.

I am in boost real quick too. Pulls very hard to redline in every gear. I love it. Worth every penny.
