Its called nightshade...you can buy it for about 15 bucks...usually you will spray it on, however many coats you want pending on darkness...and you sand it down and clearcoat it...its just like painting something but without primer and reducer or hardner, and it comes in a can, toys with noise sells it. 1 can should do pleanty of coats on a couple of taillights...if you want to take it offyou will probally have to use some paint thinner and ascuff pad...if youhave any questions or wantpics of minePM me...

This is my Camaro...it has about 4 or 5 coats on it...This pic is a little old....mine look more like taillight covers cause I sprayed them with tons of clear....ballin

The tint coating and Nightshades will both eventually bubble/peel or scratch up. There is a guy on another forum who does custom painting/tinting of the tailsthat looks amazing. He charges like $75-100 to do it...I will look for a link...

Actually the Nightshade wont scratch or "bubble" its spray on unless some kind of chemical or something gets on it...other than that just put enough clearcoat on and you will have no worrys...and as for scratching, if you get any scratches on it from cleaning it, just buff them out...

I bought mine on ebay for $19. Easy to apply. I just checked out autobadges and they sell them for $65. I"m just wondering if there a difference between those from autobadges and ebay. Why so much on autobadges?

i bought some from ebay and they were CRAP...all it was was a piece of film that had tint to it...it would not stick..im buying from autobadges just b/c of that...a wasted 20 bux on ebay couldve went towards 65 for the real deal...jus my 2 cents...
