i org. had 1500-2000 to spend on my car.... now i have about 500 or less... its not much but it will have to do... i wanted to know , minus rear end gears and an offroad x pipe..... what are the best things i could get with around 500 bucks.... i was thinking the predetor tuner and underdrive pulleys.... my car is pretty stock performance wise other than my suspension... i figure the predetor can add a good amount of HP by tuning it and bumping up my timing... and the underdrive pulleys should help a little too.... if i can squeez enough cash out i also want to get a tunable induction intake and pro M MAM.....

so here it is

-underdrive pulleys

- predetor tuner

- tunable induction intake w/ Pro m MAM


u think ill get a noticable amount of power increase?.... im not looking to gain 500 HP... i just want it to be faster than stock GTs... maybe even roll with the 99 cobras ... not beat , but stick with... i spent a lot of money on my suspension so i might as well get a little extra power , i just dont feel right having stock power with highly moded suspension.... so tell me what u guys think about those 3 things... .

But if you have a lot of suspension work your best mod as far as ET's go will be D/R's so you can launch like a botach!

Tunable induction intake w/ Pro M MAM aprx 350

Steeda timing adjuster aprx 150

steeda underdrive pulleys aprx 150

intake spacer 30 bucks ( is it worth it ... ive heard u can get around 3rwhp from it and its only 30 bucks... ????)

ok so thats my new line up.... u guys think ill pull on stock GTs even a little with that set up?.... i figure thats the MAX that i can afford and the most legal because im in CA so im not taking a chance with the offroad stuff... cops have mini smog checker things now around here so i dont need my car impounded, a 1000 ticket etc...

dont get the timing adjuster, one day... if you keep modding your car you are going to have to get a predator tuner or chip and you can advance your timing through that and that would make the timing adjuster obsolete. i would get, the tunable induction and some u/d and maybe a sticker..... how about only get cams-that will give you a bigger boost than either of aformentioned. and i think that they are around 500??????

thats the thing.... these are the last mods im gonna do, im gonna screw around with my car a little more... sell it in a year or so , and either get an 05 GT or an 03-04 cobra... thats why im only gonna spend a couple more hundreds on it so i can make it a little faster than stock and thats it.... so im not ever gonna get the tuner.... these are the last things im gonna do befor ei sell my GT... knowing what u know now... what do u think of the timing adjuster, UD pulleys, intake / mam and intake spacer.... ?

intake spacer is a huge JOKE!!!! and like i said i wouldnt waste money on the timing adjuster b/c you can change the timing when you get the chip or tuner... but the other mods sound good
