Hi,

I bought a car from a guy who had his ECU tuned by a performance shop. After driving it for a few months, I parked it and now the car won't start. It keeps cranking, but apparently the ECU takes input and produces no output whatsoever. There's no spark.

I was told I need a new ECU, but I don't know where to look to avoid getting ripped off. I don't even know how much one would be for a 99 Cobra.

Do you guys have any suggestions ? I don't want to spend much more on the car as I'll be selling it after the winter.

Not sure why the PCM **** the bed. But check to see if the chip is still in it. Also, is the Theft light comming on at all???

Hi, I'll double check about the theft-light. Why? What difference does that make ?

And any idea where I can get a replacement ECU without getting ripped off ?

like a superchip ecu?? not many places will just rip you off, not a big concern as long as they dont have wheels on their main business location. www.blueovalchips.com will hook ya up.....
