HELP clutch/tranny q's

I just recently got my Tranny rebuilt (by a friend for 100) and did my clutch same time. Well, when i Disengadge my clutch(Put foot on clutch) it make a loud squeeling(mathces RPMS) and 4th Gear grinds when i put it in. (he said itwould go away after couple hundred miles..... What do you guys think???????

sounds like you got a bad throw out bearing, its not going to go away and if it grinds going into 4th something might of been fugged up on rebuilding the trans because it sounds like the synchros are missing a part of its assembly

TOB is brand new, my old TOB was bad and its a Different sound. The Tranny im not sure, it took Us FOREVER to get it back, he put it back together wrong at first. then we Broke a Bearing so had to wait to order the Bearing Kit from Ford..... Bastards!! but he finished it... and yeah,

O well, if i gotta take it off again, ive gotten REALLY good at doing LT Headers on my car. Sooo if any one wants to do LT"s on their Car gimmie a Call(tampa Area)
