I was looking into that as well, Dunno how it will effect my current CAI setup though or how I will connect it since my factory airbox is in a box in my garage, anyone think that it would net me any HP if added to my current setup??? I bet it looks funny hangin' off the bottom of the front bumpre though! LOL

I believe folks say IF it did make a difference it would only be when your hauling butt. Otherwise a regular CAI/Densecharger setup would be the same. In fact, I am nearly positive that is the verdict since that is what I also heard inregards to the Mach 1 ram air shaker hood assembly. If anything, I'd think the mach 1 scoop would provide more air then that. However, if ya GOTTA get something - can't hurt to have it. I'd be worried about it falling off or something though.

the only way that ram air will make any difference is if you are going to actually pressurize the air, and we are talking like 80-90 mph... def not worth. and if you have a stock MAF who cares how much air you can "ram" into your intake

Granted, you can do one of 2 things.

1: Seal your air box so the only air coming into it comes from your ram air setup. This will get colder/denser air into your engine, but you have to close your airbox up, so unlike with the airbox removed, you get less air.

2: Don't seal the air box, and buy the ram air set up and have it do absolutly nothing until you reach 80 - 90 miles per hour ish

it dosent look like the inlet is big enough to do anything , i was considering makeing my own fiberglass one. Its only going to get even colder air and lessen the vacum. Some guy with a Fox body on here said he mad his own and it took off 3mph in his 1/4 but he far from stock. NO possitive boost is gonna come from that if you ask me.
