Default Tint re-application?

How can I re-apply peeling tint? I got some Tint-On but it didn't seem to work. How can I prep the area and re-apply it?

The area is the upper back window (both corners flap in the wind, its annoying as hell), the dot matrix which tint NEVER sticks to. I heard about just applying vinyl over it...

I don't think that it is going to stick back up there man. The tint has a small amount of glue that it uses to adhere to the window, once that dries, it is on there. If it comes off after that, then I am pretty sure the glue is gone and the only option is tape (ghetto)or to re-do the window.

+1, you gotta re-do the tint.

The thing is....the rest of the window looks fine. Just the top dotted part.

Should I sparingly apply ammonia to dissolve the old glue then give it a shot? This is something that people aren't going to see anyway, since it'll be covered with a vinyl strip...
