Default Bout to start car

I'm finally done, no thanks to the weather conditions of late. I'm about to start my car for the first time in 2 months because I took the heads off, got them reconditioned, and now everything is back together. The headers still aren't on and there isn't any exhaust manifolds on so I am just starting it for a few seconds to make sure I have everything ok. Wish me luck.

Good luck... It was a scary feeling for me, too. Mine started up the first time. It was just loud because of the lifters being dry. Oh yeah, and the passenger side exhaust manifold being cracked.

If its cold out dont start it without manifolds or headers or you will get what timeformiller44 said.

Well I tried it twice. The frist time took a little bit of time then it started for like2 seconds. The second time my dad came out yelling cause its 1145 PM, but it started quicker but was on for 4 seconds then died again. It didn't sound like anything was hitting, it actually sounded normal besides the fact that is is loud as hell.

P.S. About 30 seconds after I took my key out I was walking in my garage and my cars fog lights and side lights flickered, why is that? I know I didn't hit the remote because it's not on my chain cause it's broke.

Yeah true, I am happy about that. I killed it myself the second time cause it ran for a good 4 seconds. We got video sept it's on my friends phone. I'll try to post it but its just loud as hell. The one vid is messed up because my dad comes out screaming.
"What the hell are you doing?! Don't you have any damn sense?! You are 20 years old and don't know that it's almost midnight you ****ing idiots!"- My dad

[align=left]Hahaha!! My dad did the exact same thing when I was putting my headers on!! It was 2:00 AM... The only difference was he said " You ****ing idiot you are 17 years old and I have to work in the morning! Your damn truck is loud enough now turn that piece of **** off!!!.... It was hilarious..
