It is hard to understand why people buy V6 Mustangs but thinking about it more. I had a 01 GT automatic and itched my head for two years wondering why I bought a automatic instead of a stick.

Should start a poll..

What would you rather have: Stick shift V6 or a GT automatic

The automatic GT anyday! The stick is really fun to drive but i would never give up the sound of my V8

even though the 6'er is rated couple mpg behind a GT i know for sure I wish i could have the mpg of my 02 v6. $20 bucks lasted me easily a week and half.... in my GT maybe 3-4 days. I still wish i would have kept my 02 6'er. I would love to have the payments and everything back so i could get the bike i wanted faster >

heh well it depends on what your into, the v6 has their engine a little closer to the cabin, so their weight transfer isnt as fubared, the 3.8l blocks are pretty damn sturdy, there is a guy bore his stock block out to 4.3l and still have engine wall left. The guy with the 300+bhp/btq v6 reached it easier than we do=/
My gt msrp 26k
his v6 msrp optioned out 19k
he spent 3k on parts and labor to install+bore his stock block
1k on nitrous and tune

So for 23k he has a car that can keep up some 4v's and ls1's..=/

And thanks guys=P My favourite pic is the one with the tree's in the background, it makes the redfire jump out=P

And yes I own a GT, I am a mustang enthusiast, so I'll go hang out with anyone that wants to talk stang=P
