tail light film
i ordered some smoked tail light film from a vendor on ebay, and when it arrived today i saw that it's basically the same film used on windows. it has no adhesive or tape. so the instructions say to just wet it and position it on the lights. then let dry. has anyone ever used this stuff before? it was only $20 bucks so if it's junk i really dont care, just wanna see if anyone has had any success with this film. im worried that when i wash, and scub my car the film will peel. anyways if anyone has used this stuff let me know how it worked out.

RE: tail light film
My buddy has the same ones on his 2000 GT. He got them for 20 bucks off of eBay too. They go on pretty easy and look fine. He has had his on for about 3 months now and they still look great. No bubbles or anything. Good luck.

RE: tail light film
yeah, i bought mine on ebay for $20. they are easy to apply. great look. they are actually thicker than the one use for windows. once they're dried, they just stay on forever unless you take a sharp razor and pill it off. Autobadges sell them for $65. I wonder if those are even thicker.
$65 is too much to try.
