Default Drag tires question

Hi everyone

Im buy a pair of Nitto Drag Radials 275/50/17
a few hours ago i was testing the tires...
they are grate, almost not spinning tires

but my question is, in the shifts
when my car do the shift from 1 to 2 gear
the rpm drops almost 3200

is this ok ? or what can i do to fix this

555r's are better than a street tire. lol

About the rpms, Dont take your foot off the gas. 1-2 shift is by far the easiest to powershift. If your rpms, are dropping that low, just shift faster.

Powershifting would help, but be ready to kiss your tranny goodbye if you keep doing that, especially the T45.

Even with 4.10's it drops that low? Thats weird. Shift kit would help alot.

On the 1-2 shift with street tires, were you spinning at all? That would cause your rpm's to stay high with the street tires. The d/r's are hooking causing it tobog down a little. That's the best guess I can make. A shift kit wouldn't hurt.
