clutch kill tranny???
could a new clutch kill a old tranny? I just changed out the clutch and put a new Hays one in my 2000 GT. the new one engages hard and in just worried that it might be too hard on the tranny. its really hard to slip this clutch and it feels like everytime i engage it im just flat out dropping the clutch.
Is this going to go away once the clutch breaks in or is my tranny going to die

Unless you are putting down big power I wouldnt worry about the tranny.

You will have to adjust to your clutch. Where is it engaging (travel)? If you simply cannot slip it at all something is probably adjusted incorrectly. Did you go with a clutch adjuster and firewall quadrant?
