If you loose this you must burn the car and then buy a civic... there are no exuses here.

Take it easy on the launch, don't get stupid and rev it way up and spin, and take a little extra time on the shifts to make sure you hit them... if you don't miss a gear you just can't loose.

+1. I have met a few of these people. It is funny. Their cars way so much more, they need that power to get them moving. They are also powered to tug not to launch against a mustang.

Record it, better yet have him record it so we can see the back of your car! lol

he claims hes making 400hp, well lets see, stock it has 335hp, lets say at most hes getting 25hp form his tuner, cold air intake, maybe 5, and exhaust, prob another 5 but lets just say 10, thats still only 375, and thats being very generous... And he ways 5500lbs... Youl be fine

thanks guys! he just tryed gettn' in my head and stuff. i just don't want to loose traction outa the hole, because he is AWD. i put 285/35/18's on it last fall and traction sucks from a hole shot. i'm an auto btw

Hah no problem with this, you'll take him. and since you said you have a shift kit means you're auto so no shifting needed (unless you plan to ratchet style shift) Then be easy with it to not over pass a gear!

the 285's should help unless they're sumitomo's then you're screwed on traction so don't Stomp on it from the light ease into it and then rip!
