Slicks? Like MT ET Drags? You arent even gonna be able to turn them over. You will bog badly, or have to slip the clutch really bad.

A nitto, or a bfg Radial, would be better for your application.

Your torque boxes will suffer more than anything espeically if you have control arms.

I was thinking the same thing. I HAVE to launch it hard on slick to not bog it.

I had a mild bolt on GT with 3.73's and I tried to launch on MT ET Drags. 5500rpm clutch drop, bogged BADLY. 2.0 60'. Shoulda slipped it out, but thats too much tire.

Straight up track only sticky slicks or drag radials?

+1 on the boggage. That thing will bog like crazy and when you compensate for the bog with a high-RPM launch is when you will break something.

Hitting 2nd, it really depends on how your shifting. If you powershift and are too slow to let the RPM's soar you may be in trouble.
