Default Project rebuild and go fast

Well i started to take apart my motor today as the start of project rebuild and go fast. Im pretty scared because i have never done anything like this. I have disconnected everything and tomorrow i will be pulling the motor out.
Since i have long tubes should take out the motor with or without the tranny?
My plans for the motor are:
Get the motor balanced and blueprinted with new forged rotating assembly.
I plan on super charging it after i graduate in two years but n/a until then. so i thought 11cc pistons would be a good choice. Haven't decided yet.
I am going to either get my stock heads ported and polished or buy stage 2 heads.
Custom grind Stage 2 cams w/ springs
AND if i have enough dough at the end ill be throwing on a p-51 intake.

what do you guys think? hoping for 300+ N/a and who know with the supercharger.....

remove the steering shaft and pull the motor and tranny together with the longtubes on it.

I recently pulled my motor, once everything is disconnected it's easier than you'd think. I also have LTH on mine.

I just got my motor together and the LTs installed today. First time I built a motor (septthe pistons and crank stayed in)and it started up first time. It's not that hard to put the motor together and get it timed. Oxfordgt did a write up on it on here. It gives a good step by step and he helped me out with my tear down and put together.

You may have a problem pulling the engine with Mac longtubes if you have A/C still. The lines go right over them. Also the steering shaft wont just slide out of the headers. If you put them in you should remember that you had to twist the header to get the shaft through it. You cant twist the headers when they are still attached. With your tubed Kmember it is easy to get the headers off, it took me about an hour by myself.
