For those that may not have noticed, he has a Cobra. He redlines at 6800.

Then definately don't go with 4.10's since most of the time you're shifting sooner and you're not going to hit your prime RPM peak.

I didn't notice it was a cobra. With the higher RPM range 4.10s should be fine. You have longer to react in each gear and a better top end in 4th with the cobra.

I was under the assumption the higher the gear the sooner you're shifting in a manual!

You couldn't be more wrongA centri blower needs to be kept in the higher RPM's for the boost and the fact he has a Cobra is even more reason[8D]

Well I was mis informed for sure, lol My bad. I do still lik my 3.73's though. I guess since it's not a major hard core track car, it's good enough for me.

You will, but he has a higher redline. You don't have to shift at 6200~ with the cobra, he can run it out to 6800, which means more time in the gear.

A 4.10 will be shorter than a 3.73, but the 4.10s should be ok in his cobra with that redline.

even if he had to shift at 6200 it would still be ok, i say go 410s or 3:90s if you havent already bought the gears

I base everything off of track performance. For a non-track car a 3.73 would be a good compromise. Sorry if I seemed rude......I'm a bit hard core and my coffee hasn't kicked in yet[8D][8D]
