when u say scream ... how loud is that compared to say a stock GT or a stock GT with flows welded in ?????.... i only ask because i cant have it too much louder, i get pulled over a lot as it is and i dont want to have a chance in CA of having a cop look under my car and see it is offroad and impound my car, give me a over 1 grand ticket etc.... so if its WAY louder than stock with flows welded in , then i cant take the risk, but if its louder than stock with flows but it is still reasonable then i dont need to worry... see where im comming from?

also i cant afford a bassani. if having the offroad X is not TOO loud then ill be getting the UPR offroad X with MIL eliminators for 200... thats all i can afford

I have a catless X and a Magnapack catback and Yes it is Loud very loud but everyone loves the way my car sounds it has a deep rumble. It makes a sort of bubbling noise when @ idle. I never got pulled over for exhaust or anything at all so far and I have 20% tint as well which is illegal in NJ. I dont think u will have a problem cuz it seems like cops get ricers w/ loud exhaust rather than muscle cars b/c it is kinda expected from mucle cars w/ large displacement. I say go for it, just keep the RPM's down when u see a cop.

thanks dude , ya i think im gonna go with the UPR .... LAST thing.... do offroad x pipes for the most part sound alike because im hoping the UPR will give me a nice sound

I would think so. As long as it does not have any cats and is an X Pipe (as opposed to an H) all the x-pipes should sound alike, i would recommend stainless steel just b/c it wont rust, but for it to rust it may take a longtime. Also i got my X pipe installed by professionals and they had to bend the pipe a small amount to fit. I dont know if u have the tools to bend the pipe if need, b/c no one around hear in NJ would even want to touch my straight X pipe and everyone said that we would only install it for u if u give us $25K for the fine if caught. Yeah, what he said. It sounds great. Mine is quiet at idle and slow speeds but when I get on it, it really screams! I LOVE IT!!! LOL

Your signature says Magnaflow, not Magnapack which is it? The Magnapacks I have heard are a good bit louder than the Magnaflows.

Even the catback only Packs are pretty loud.

With the X pipe, all you will need is the Magnaflows.
