Take out the air filter

That'll free up a good 5 hp

I did it, wasn't impressed and took the piece off. I may still have it laying around.

Also take off the ruber boots on top of the springs. Itll lower the car about a 1/4" or more. If you know how to do suspension work itll take 5 minutes. If you dont then try and not kill yourself with the springs

I used a dorman freeze out plug to reduce the air to the IAC instead of taking the IAC off,,,making a gasket,,and etc...50 cent plug...started by drilling a small hole,,increase the size if needed...took a whole 10 minutes to install and tune"LOL"....whole lot simpler and easier....kinda like the copper plug mode only done with a dorman 555-015 freeze out plug....pull the hose off...install cap over iac tube,shove hose over plug and iac...done.
