O/D question
Hello. I just bought an 00 GT (automatic trans) a couple of months ago and I don't know too much about cars. I was just wondering if its normal for the car to go into OD at low speeds (like 30-35 MPH)? Also, when i turn the OD off, it feels like it kicks in once I hit 3rd gear. I'll lightly hit the gas at this point, the RPMS will go up a little, but then it'll drop back down. If i'm going fast this won't happen, but if i'm going driving at a moderate speed (25-35 MPH) this happens. Is this normal?

O/D question
An O/D tranny will always do that, unless you've manually got it in a certain gear. If your at WOT, then it's not gonna shift until it hits higher RPM's. I'm not an expert on AOD's, especially 4.6 AOD's, so I'm gonna leave this one alone.

Mines a 98, and it has a 4R70W in it.
