i had the work done at a mustang shop. i did the headers myself but no garage to do cams in. the pistons are stock. cams, beehive springs, and retainers.
how did they get them to work without hitting a piston on a valve? like the stock pistons werent cut or anything to make the valves clear? or did it have like cam gears maybe?
i contacted comp before i purchased the cams. they said all i need is a 3:55 gear or better, cold air intake, and beehive valve springs. no clearance issues. runs great!

Thats just not true. I have my idle set at 950, and I get compliments all the time. When I set the idle at 650-700(not for long) it just sounds nasty.
There are plenty of cars on this forums that have sick lope.
