Default Question about Wheels...

Ok, so, I'm in a dilemma. Right now, my '04 GT is sittin pretty at almost 33K miles, and I'm startin to lose traction on the rear in the rain (rears are going first....wonder why) Anyways, I was hoping I could save up the money to do wheels and tires at the same time. I think I'd like to do the DD bullitts out back, with a 17x9" rim up front. So, here's the real toughie: My car has the 40th Anniversary package, which includes Arizona Beige stripes all the way down the middle of the car, and on the rocker panels. It also came with the bullitt rims, painted in the same color. I love the way these colors match up going down the side of the car. My question is, could anyone give me an estimate on what it would cost to get a set of wheels painted, and if there are any recommendations on different wheels, feel free to suggest your fave.

Just checked American Muscle, they're showing a bunch in stock of two different styles, and they're known for being reliable. How does getting a factory wheel widened work? I've never heard of it before, and I've been lurking on these forums for quite a while.

Yeah I just checked American Muscle last night and it looks like they have the 17x10.5 DD bullits in stock, I really hope so...even if you get your stock wheels widened, you're not gonna get that nice Lip on the back.

If you go with wheels and tires, check out the black chrome bullet wheel packages on Ebay, now them wheels are bad ***.
