When im driving down the road, and put the car in nuetral to coast, the rpms drop fast, and the car dies. It idles fine at red lights 90% of the time. Sometimes when im driving and i let off the gas in like 5th gear it bucs some, not terrible. ive checked all vacuum lines, changed the pcv and cleand the egr valve. Mayby IAC?

IAC would be my best guess. Try cleaning it out, and if that doesnt work, just go buy a new one. My IAC makes this god awful hissing noise, but I idle perfectly fine. My motto, if it aint broke, dont fix it.

IAC would be the next step.. check out the sticky does your stang stall or die when cruising or idling?

well cleaning it didnt do anything, i will try replacing it tomorrow. What kind of other possibilities are there, stuff that isnt common. Just curious

When I cleaned my IACit just made the problem worse. I replaced it with a new one from autozone and that fixed it. Dont flip out and think your car is gonna blow up, this is a VERY common problem with mustangs.
