So I found this post on another forum that outlined how to change the instrument panel lighting to blue. I purchased tri-leds from autolummination. I also purchased extra sockets.Along with blues, I bought three reds as well. Two problems:
1) the blues look green because apparently there is "tint" on the guages....does anyone, opr has anyone done this mod and know how to fix this?
2) Now the left turn signal light doesn't work at all. The signal flashes on the outside but the light on the inside doesn't light. I've tried new bulbs, new sockets, blub and sockets from working instruments and it doesn't light. The wires and pins are all good as well....any ideas?
This would really be a GREAT mod if the blue lighting would't look green and unfortunately the thread is a couple years old.I switched out the turn signal and high beam lights to blue as well and they looked sweet...no green tint (??? for some reason ???)
