Default Backspacing/Offset?

im trying to sell my old 17" x 8" '01 Cobra Chrome wheels...the ones that are in my sig and on my pics page. i have somebody interested and he asked if i knew the backspacing and the offset. well...lol...i have no idea. so i figured id ask on here and hopefully find someone more knowledgeable on the subject. i tried running a quick google search but couldnt find any info. any help is appreciated...i really wanna get rid of these.

if you can't find it online then you can measure it out yourself. Find the center of the wheel, and offset is the center of the wheel to the hub, and backspacing is from the hub to the inner lip.

but i dont wanna get my crappy jack out of the trunk and take off a new wheel and put on an old one to measure. i mean i could...i was just hoping to find out on here so i dont have to do that lol.

The site presents it as if they are the stock wheels, but I dunno.

What car is he trying to fit them on? We can probably tell you if they are gonna fit by that.

yea thats why i wasnt sure if theyd work...i think hes trying to put em on a Fox Body Stang. im pretty sure the wheels would work on SN-95s and New Edges, but i dunno about Fox Bodies or S-197s

I know for sure they do not fit on the S197s.

I thought they did so on foxbodys, but only if it has a 5 lug conversion. Alot/most of the foxes came with 4 lug.
