Default Front windsheild tint strip

What do you guys think about tinting a strip at the top of the front windsheild. Basically a sunblock. I've never liked it but my buddy has a gt and hedid it to hisabout 4-6 inches thick and to be honest it looked kinda cool from the inside. Still not sure if i want to do it so i thought i'd get some opinions.

A friend has it on his 95' SN95 and it looks good. There is a line you cannot go below or it'll not pass inspection, at least here in Delaware.

i think it looks ok, but can look tacky sometimes. when i got my windows tinted i opted not to get one. i have the mustang matrix above the miror, i thought that was cool and didnt want to loose it or tint over it.

It looks good, I have it. But the mustang on the windshield right behind the mirror prevents the sint from sticking there.

I dont know how my car came from the factory, but it's got the strip along the top as well as real light tint the rest of the way around.

I guess I just assumed they came like that, but apparently not. They look good, but I've considered something like a GT banner up there, but I don't know.

Like said earlier, don't get it w/o any other tint ;-)

i believe they stopped doing the factory strip in 99. my '00 didn't have it so i got it done with the rest of my tint. i didn't have it go down too far. and yes it does suck that the tint doesn't stick to the dot matrix with the running pony, but doesn't bother me too much. it does help a bit when the sun is going down, since the visor only covers the area right in front of you.
