I have no idea when the fluid was changed last. I just got the car a month ago. It has almost 65000miles on it.

The cheapest thing to do would be to change the fluid and add one bottle of friction additive from the ford place and see what happens.

Hold it, are there different brands of diff fluid and friction modifier? Or only the stuff ford makes? [&:] If there are different kinds, which brand should i go with?
