Please help....Brake problem
Ok here is the deal. I have an 03 GT that I bought 2 months ago. When I got the car ithad Baer 13" drilled and slotted rotors all the way around with Baer calipers up front. After a while, my rear brakes started making a clicking noise. The noise was constant but got much louder upon braking. I took the rear wheels, pads, rotors and extension off. The pads looked fine and the rotors seemed ok. I put everything back on and the noise went away on the drivers side but only got quieter on the passenger side. Now after 2 weeks it has gotten really loud again with an added hum when I brake. WTF is going on? I am by no means a mechanic and the only thing that comes to mind is maybe 2 warped rotors. They are , however, Baer components that don't appear to have too many miles on them. Please help and TIA!

RE: Please help....Brake problem
Being a dick isn't going to get you anywhere. I told you what to check. All you did was repeat me and put a question mark at the end. If you don't know how to adjust or check your parking brake, then take it to a shop!

RE: Please help....Brake problem
Jack up the whole rear of the car (use the axle if you have two stands or just the pumpkin if you only have 1), take the rotors off and spin the axle shafts one at a time. Look for any part of the parking brake system that's moving or looks like it has been rubbing on something. Make sure it's fully disanguaged, too. Get a can of brake clean and spray everything down. And look around. If you need it, get a Haynes/Chilton manual. They have pretty decent information.
