What Do I Need?
 

OK, i'm racing a guy next friday. he want's to go Heads-up for $500. He just had 3.73's put in and thinks he's invincible. Prior to the gears his best was a 14.0. I am going to buy 4.10's tomorrow and current mods are as follows:
BBK longtubes w/ O/R x, Flowmaster Catback, CAI, Diablo tuner, BFG D/R's. My best time to date is a 13.8 @ 96 (let off after 1000ft) with a 1.99 60ft on stock gears. Do you think i could beat him, or what would i need to help me out a little more (other than N2O)?

I think you would take him, especially with that 60'. Are you going to the track or what?

Also, get a short throw shifter if you can. Every little bit helps.

Yeah, we're going to the track. I quit racing on the streets due to increased police presence in the area. The track SUCKS, but it beats getting tickets/going to jail.

From your mods u will take him, +1 for the short throw. and seems like u got great exprience on the track so thats gonna help, u should give me some pointers since im going fri to the track for the first time lol

You got him. That's a lot of $ to put up on one race though IMO. A missed shift and you are Flirtin With Disaster!

well if he ran a 14.0 with 4.10s and the exact same run id say hed run a 13.7 or 13.8 you ran that without gears, think this one is a no brainer
