hey i know that cats make your car louder but other positive effects does it have. And what cats are best recommended

Cats make the car quieter. Removing them makes it louder.

Uh, cats do not make your car louder. Without cats, its more louder and rougher of a sound. Cats clean the exhaust, and are for emissions use. If you live in a place where you have emissions during inspection, you need cats.
