i think you'll win. Fron what i hear they are slow except the awd ones will get ya from a dig but by the end of the race you'll surpass him. I hear they are heavy and are like mid 15's at the track. Not sure though what is the truth thats from word of mouth from a buddy that works with some guy that wants to race me. I think in the Spring were gonna hafta have a video of a 3000 GT gettin' owned.

A kid at my college has a '94 VR4, 6 spd. He said he ran it at the track a few times, and his best time was a 14.10, like around 98 mph I think he said. I would have bet it would be quicker than that, the kid's a decent driver too. I mean, he's an average driver ya know, he's not like a total retard behind the wheel. So I don't know, doesn't seem all that quick. But yea, his car is really good off the line, he said it has as 0-60mph time of around 5.4 seconds, which is like a whole second faster than my car. So I don't know seems too slow to be true, but I don't see why he's say it's slowing than it is, it's not like we were going to race or anything, I was just asking him about it. But yea, I heard those cars are heavier than hell for some reason...I say run him man, who cars what it is, just run him, not like there is really anything to loss, other than bragging rights, haha...

vr4s are awd, but why does no one mention its aws...what? aws? all wheel steering. long before the quadra steer in gmc trucks or whatever... and yeah, some of the twin turbos cranked 320hp from a v6. awd, aws, 320hp, race a vr4 and admire his taillights. but you could smoke an sl, they only had like 218hp. vr4s are the only ones really worth much but they are a considerable jump in worth. good lookin cars though even if just an sl, always liked the look. oh, vr4s weigh nearly 3800lbs, sl is 3300. awd is heavy

yep ur right the awd is what makes the VR-4 so heavy. Their would be no change a VR-4 could beat an 03 Cobra, however, the TT would kill the Cobra off the line. I dont know if any of u guys seen some of Blades videos (from SVT Performance a while back), he raced a Galant VR-4 w/ his modded 03 Cobra and got owned off the line then realed him in @ mid race.
