i never thought i wanted to do this
well i was sitting in class today and a kid i talk to came up to me and asked me if i wanted to buy a supercharger.i said no i wanted to stay N/A. he said oh and started to walk away. i called him back and asked him where he got it from and what is what. he said if friend had a lease he just turned in and had a vortech v2 on it. he took it off and said he was looking to sell it. he told me he thinks his friend only wants a few hundred for everything. a few hundred as in $800. i told him to get me a list and what all is included. he got it installed at a very good shop around town that only deal;s with vortech chargers.
so monday i find out what all is in the kit and if it has everything i may be switching to a blown car. i would save on the install by doing it myself. he said the kid was around 350 at the wheels, knowing me if i had that charger i would up the boost and try to get my stang around 400 at the wheels. what you all think? what should i make sure this kit comes with? fuel injectors, charger it self, all piping, mouinting brakets, oil feed lines. what else? does vortech use a boostapump like kb or do i need to get a bigger fuel pump if the kid doesnt have one?
