Dont Pump Gas On May 15th
In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight. On May 15th 2007, all are asked to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places. So on May 15th please do not pump gas and remember to tell all your friends. The more people the bigger the impact.

Right....lets all buy gas on the 14th or 16th instead
If "Everyone" doesn't buy gas on the 15th, "Everyone" is going to buy on the 14th or 16th to make up for it, so more gas is sold on the 14th and 16th than usual, therefore making up for the "Loss" on the 15th.

well, i dunno about your lingo but i dont buy any gas i have, it comes naturally. as for 91 octane fuel for the mustang, i usually gas fuel up the beginning of the month, but thanks for the "dont buy gas today do it tomorrow" thread [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]

Although your protest is geared toward a good point. We're all screwed when it comes to the gas prices. It's not at $3 here, but i'm sure it will be soon. I'm about to breakdown and buy a cheap ricer to be my DD.

I live in Western Canada (BC) and right now in my town (lowest price in area) i pay 1.11 for 89oct for my wifes car and 1.25 for 94 oct for mine so there is Aprox 4 L to a Gallon thats like $4.44/gal for my wife and over $5/Gal for me!! it sucks alot but you gotta pay to play !! if you bitch about Gas millage buy a Toyota!!

I got me a 1993 Honda Civic SI that I bought for around $800.00 with 159,00 miles on her..... Gets around 38-40 mpg..... Its got a fart can and a system...... Paint is crappy, but I don't mind trading paint with the person next to me!

As said before.
What happens when NOBODY buys gas for any amount on the 15th?
It shoots UP 30-40 cents the next couple days so that everyone has to get raped.
Idea was good in nature, but horrible in practicality.
