So my buddy just totalled his 03 cobra.... Well he is going to be buying another cobra and he wants my mach 1000. So.. He says he will trade me the ported Eaton off his cobra straight up for my Mach 1000 stereo.... Should i do it?

AFAIK, It only works with 4v heads, not 2v. It would be a direct swap onto a Mach 1 or Cobra, but it would be a lot of trouble for you.

If you want, but I don't think the eaton will bolt right up without some kind of modifications...I am not 100% sure though.
You may to need to make an adapter for the upper intake/blower.

Depending on the stage people normally are getting $650-800 shipped for Stage 3 steig. ported blower... and 750-1000 for Stage 4 ported blower, with ported tb/plenum...

btw.. you can fit them on 2v... it just takes a ton of work and in the end just isn't worth it... there is actually a kit that will also make them fit the 3.8 V6 motor... the guy I sold my stock eaton to did that...

Heres what I would do. Strip the Mach 1000 stuff of your car, trade it for the eaton, sell your car. Buy yourself a SN95 Cobra, or 99/01,use the extra cash between them to buy yourself whatever else you need to plop the eaton onto Cobra, poof, you can now use the eaton
