0-60's are so much speculation though.

Unless youre using the same tool *device* on the same strip of road with all of the different cars, there really is no certain answer to how fast your 0-60mph time is.

Just make up a number and tell people thats what it does. How are they going to know any different?

I could claim 5.0's flat, but nobody asks so i dont worry about it any more ;-)

i would shift to 2nd just past 5k rpms youll be right at the peak torque and if your going 0-60 just leave it 2nd cause by shifting to 3rd ur losing at least 0.5 sec.

I always read the GT's made it in 5.5? 6's suck. My 6 banger Pontiac G6 does it in 6. [:'(]

My Seconds Redlines at 60(stock Gears). I dont car, With a Stopwatch you are NOT going ot get a Close time. There is NO way u can. I dont Feel like explaining it too much typing.... U prolly not launching Right, Im sure... DIff Gear so you might be Babying it 2 Much? Are u HEATING the STock Tires up? THen they WONT Grip if ui heat them... just Find a Track and Test ur 1/4 or Borrow a Gtech, That will atleast get it down Close Enough

Ah, but bringing up the idea of spinning/no spin/ too much spin brings up a whole 'nother point in itself.

We all know that a car with more spin *aka a worse 60' time* will trap HIGHER compared to a car that dead hooks off the line improving their 60' time and ET but hurting their trap speed...

how would this work in the world of 0-60MPH times?

lol.. good luck with that one...
