So the black one has an engine knock...they said they're fixing it but I don't want to deal with **** like that. I'm now looking at a few others:

$9,995
2000 GT
black
70,xxx miles
some options, leather, not fully loaded

$9,100 bid on Ebay right now, reserve not met, 3 days left
2002 GT
white
29,000 miles
many options, probably fully loaded but not sure. not so hot on the color, but I bid before thinking that through
i got my 02 with 36000 for 12000 bid on the one on ebay and get a carfax

My 02 has 85,000 on her and I drive it every day. The typical for an 02 (according to KBB) is 80,000 so I'd say those cars are in the realm.

In 03, (4 years ago), I paid 11k after taxes car had 45k miles on it. I knew the dealer and he took me to the auction to buy it, but still private party sales were in that area at the time. Way to much in my opinon. For 11-12k, i'd buy an 01 snake or an LS1.

Lower milage is always better but with 70K on mine I put a blower on it, with zero problems.

you might want to look in to an 01 or 02 Cobra also.

you might want to look in to an 01 or 02 Cobra also.
there is no 02 cobra. check into a 99/01 cobra i always prefer lower mileage but that doesnt necesairiliy means one car is better than another. A car that has been grannyed for 100,000 miles will hold up longer than a car that has been abused and not properly maintained with 20,000 miles. Avoid the one with engine knock, it was obviously abused

but yea look for lower mileage man.

Just for quick info, in NY or other parts of the northeast these cars still pull over 10 grand easy depending on condition...Many southern states and out west do not pull the same kinds of money in your areas due to the lower cost of living..Sucks for buying cars[:@]but great for selling lol...
