The Bucket drove and by and your Mustang got nervous...LOL. Yep, looks like ya need a new seal.
Lolol funny stuff!

I drove down to a shop and they want freakin $100 just to reseal it......FAK! Can i do it myself?
EASY, very easy. Will take about 1/2 hour and some new rear end fluid.
Can i buy the seal and fluid at autozone?

Give me a step by step tutorial of this if you would [>:]

On the bottom of the diff. there is a drain plug. 1) drain fluid. 2) take cover off. 3) clean everything with parts cleaner. 4) use a new gasket and silicone for cover 5) fill plug on side of diff. take this out. 6) fill diff until fluid comes out the hole and your done.

Fill plug will be on passenger side, kind of hard to see. You can use a 3/8 drive ratchet to loosen it.

It has a tag on one of the bolts that will have some number along with 7.5 or 8.8. If you have a gt, you have 8.8

They only put 8.8's in the GT's.. never the 7.5.. .it wasnt even an option. All the GT's came factory with the same gear ratio and rear end setup.

Its an easy job... about the same difficulty level as the mid pipe.. if you would have gotten the tools then instead of having a shop do it....[8D]
