Default Auto Meter Tach is off

The AutoMeter Tach I have in my car is slighly off. The AutoMeter TAch reads 2k RPM while the factory is a little higher. Is there a way to adjust it so that the 2 are the same?

i know this works with an 02 you can try this trick to make sure which tach is right. with your key off hold down your milage reset button. while holding it down turn the key on and wait untill you see something like ------------ on your milage reader then crank the car and release the button. you can now scroll through a few factory digital read outs one of which is a digital tach. no just check to see if its the dash tach or the auto meter that is off. Sorry i couldnt directly answer your question but its a pretty cool tool
