just unscrew the bolt that holds your airbox to the side of your car and rip that thing out..takes like 10 min

Its a snorkle shaped part of the stock intake hose. It is mounted in the passenger side fender. It quiets the air flowing into the intake. Everyone takes this off to gain a few horses and to improve the sound under the hood. If you still have one, take it off. Or get a cold air intake system and remove the entire stock hose/air cleaner assembly.
