Default Prochamber Volume..

Ok just something im curious about. The PC is supposed to be a mix between the X and the H... Well if its part X then why is it quieter than an H? What makes a prochamber so quiet? I have never heard one in person... But from the videos i have wathced the tone is amazing but they are soooo quiet...... Why?

And in person... Exactly how much quieter is an offroad prochamber than an offroad H or X?

just a tad quieter than an H pipe. The chamber acts somewhat like a muffler quieting it down a bit.

i have a prochamber with 40 flows...and my buddy with an 03 gt has a jegs o/r h with 40s.

the main difference is the actual tone, his sounds much raspier down at the lower rpms, while mine has the "gurgle" and resonance. mine actually is a bit louder at idle because of how DEEP the tone is compared to his. But once we exceed about 3000 rpms, it sounds relatively the same, except mine still holds a deeper note.

and the x and h part...

the inlets of the prochamber that come off the manifold go into the collector box (the "chamber" if you will), there is a V that lets the exhaust scavenge into each side onwards toward the mufflers.

since you have flows, i would recommend a prochamber, its still pretty loud. but as far as decibels, it may be a couple quieter than an offroad x or h, but the tone is much deeper and exotic.

prochamber and flows ftw!!

I think it just gives it lower tone. Like it has more bass to it.
